Jose Guillen Citing!
So in between studying for finals and being sidetracked by epic boobs (I highly recommend a click) I caught a Royals game. The two previous games of the series left me with bitter hope of breaking the broom stick but the Blue Wave proved me wrong. I don't know if I need to thank Zach Grienke's strong performance or lack there of by his opponent Jered Weaver. The bats came alive but more importantly HGH himself, Jose Guillen, showed some pop. He nailed two doubles and scored two runs. Outside from the shot he hit down in Texas and the long ball he had a few days ago against the Blue Jays, this is the only positive thing for him on the season to date. Well that, and how he manages to keep that dip secured in his lip. I pray he can keep SOMETHING together or else the offense will flat line again against Baltimore. Guillen is supposed to be the big dick/stick in the lineup and has failed miserably thus far. Alex Gordon is not quite ready and Billy Butler has yet to prove he is really much more then a large contact hitter. Hell, I didn't even question it when Trey Hillman batted David Dejesus third. He has the most solid bat on the team to date. The worst part is...the team is only 3 games under .500 and in the hunt in the Central. Jose will let me down. Much like Emil Brown, Juan-Gone, Chuck Knoblauch, and the list goes on and on. I'm going to put on my powder blue and cry myself to sleep.
